Job Description
This role serves as a key operational support partner within the People Operations team, assisting with day-to-day HR functions, back-end employee support, onboarding coordination, leaves and accommodations support, and compliance activities. The People Ops Specialist will help ensure HR processes run smoothly while providing responsive support to employees, managers, and the broader People team.
This role is ideal for someone with solid HR operational experience who can step into a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and contribute with minimal training. The ideal candidate is organized, systems-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable supporting a wide range of People Operations processes.
What You’ll Do
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions and support requests
- Provide day-to-day support related to policies, benefits, onboarding, and HR processes
- Assist with resolving employee issues and escalate complex matters as appropriate
- Support the People Operations team in delivering a positive employee experience
- Help maintain HR resources, guides, and employee communications
- Support onboarding coordination and ensure completion of required documentation and system setup
Administrative Support
- Assist with employee data management, audits, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Help maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support updates to HR workflows, SOPs, and process documentation
- Assist with reporting and administrative tracking as needed
- Support compliance activities including file audits, required postings, and record maintenance
- Coordinate with internal teams to support HR operational processes and employee transitions
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ years of HR, People Operations, or related experience
- Strong working knowledge of HR operational processes and employee lifecycle support
- Experience with HRIS platforms
- Experience supporting onboarding and HR compliance activities
- Exposure to leave administration and accommodations processes preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Customer-service mindset with a collaborative and responsive approach
