Job Description
Summary: 10/10 Research is a market and user experience research agency that helps organizations make better decisions through rigorous customer insight. The Research Intern role is designed for MAPSS students to gain hands-on experience in research delivery and business development within a consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews
- Survey design and analysis
- Competitive research
- Market landscape analysis
- Benchmarking
- Synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Developing research materials (discussion guides, surveys)
- Supporting research operations and project management
- Taking detailed interview notes
- Conducting literature or secondary research
- Cleaning and organizing datasets
- Supporting qualitative analysis
- Creating visual summaries of findings
- Helping draft client-ready reports and presentations
- Observing proposal development
- Participating in scoping conversations
- Seeing how research is positioned to clients
- Understanding pricing and project structure
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Communication, or related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong writing ability
- Curious about how research informs business decisions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and iterative work
- Experience with research methods (qualitative or quantitative)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with survey, recruitment, data analysis, and organizational tools a plus
