## About Lever

Lever sits alongside Greenhouse in the startup and mid market segment. Its application form is short by design, usually a name, email, resume, and a handful of links.

The complication is Lever's custom cards. Employers add structured blocks of extra questions, and postings that look identical from the outside can carry very different requirements underneath. Lever also asks for profile URLs more often than most systems, so a candidate record without a LinkedIn or portfolio link fails validation on a form that otherwise looks trivial.

Tsenta fills and submits Lever applications for you, either from the app or through the developer API.

Typically used by: Startups and mid market technology companies

## Applying by hand

- Custom cards holding employer defined question blocks
- URL fields that reject anything that is not a well formed link
- Short forms that still fail on a single missing field
- Both hosted and embedded posting layouts

## With Tsenta

- Send the posting URL and a candidate profile
- Get a status back, or a webhook, when it is submitted or failed
- Optionally approve the answers before anything is sent
- Pay only for applications that actually go through

## Questions

### Does Lever have a public application API?

Lever's Postings API lets anyone read open roles, and its Data API serves employers who license the product. Submitting on a candidate's behalf is not part of either. Tsenta completes the real application flow, so it covers any Lever posting.

### What happens if a Lever posting needs a link I did not provide?

The application pauses on needs_review with the specific field named, rather than failing outright or inventing a value. You supply it and the application continues from where it stopped.

### How fast is a Lever application?

Lever forms are short, so they are among the quickest to complete. You get a terminal status back on the application object, and a webhook if you subscribed to one, rather than having to poll.
