Job Description
Summary: Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash. They are hiring Sales and Marketing Interns to help launch their free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses and support the rollout of enterprise AI services to businesses after the launch.
Responsibilities:
- Create and customize sales presentations and scripts using AI tools
- Identify influencers and leaders through web research and social media
- Populate and manage CRM databases and prospect profiles
- Utilize warm and cold outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers
- Represent Starbeam through content creation, including short-form video, social media posts, and written features in your school newspaper or campus media
- Write articles and online content about Starbeam so the brand surfaces when people search AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity
- Take free online courses to become certified in AI tools and HubSpot sales and marketing
Required Qualifications:
- A current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related fields. Exemptions will be made for high school students who demonstrate extraordinary interest
- Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours/week
- Excellent written and verbal skills, without relying on AI
- Strong interpersonal skills and love to make new friends and grow a professional network
- Interested in sales and marketing as a possible career
- Sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA)
