Staff Restaurant Cook (Season 2026)
At Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, every team member contributes to creating an exceptional hospitality experience. As a Staff Restaurant Cook, you will play an important role in supporting the daily wellbeing of our Associates by preparing fresh, high-quality meals in a professional, efficient, and well-organized kitchen environment. With attention to detail, consistency, and care, you will help maintain the high standards and positive team culture that define our resort.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients, execute daily food preparation, and maintain mise en place for the staff restaurant kitchen
Cook and serve meals according to established recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
Organize, stock, and manage your kitchen section efficiently, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workstation throughout the shift
Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures in line with hygiene and food safety standards
Monitor inventory levels, assist with deliveries, control portions, and minimize waste while maintaining food quality
Support meal preparation for different employee shifts and operational requirements in a timely and efficient manner
Enforce strict hygiene, health, and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP and company standards
Accommodate dietary requirements and special meal requests with professionalism and attention to detail
Collaborate closely with kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain the resort’s high culinary standards
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel, staff restaurant or high-volume kitchen environment
Culinary Arts qualification or vocational cooking certification will be considered an advantage
Good command of the English language
Good understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety procedures
Strong teamwork skills, reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude
Awareness of food hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)
