Job Description
Summary: Erie Home is dedicated to making homeownership easy and strives to build a welcoming workplace. The AP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that vendors are paid for services and products, handling tasks such as reviewing bills, data entry, and vendor communication.
Responsibilities:
- Review, sort incoming bills to be processed
- Seek approvals from business by threshold
- Data entry of bills
- Communication and follow-up with internal departments regarding invoices and billing
- Audit credit card bills and expense report spending
- Reconcile vendor statements and transactions
- Contact vendors for missing invoices and statements
- Process and maintain 1099 statements and distribute checks
- Respond to vendor inquiries
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of accounts payable experience
- Familiarity with financial software
- Proven experience with data reporting, analysis, and operations research
- Strong math and data entry skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Preferred Qualifications:
- College coursework
- Accounting experience
