Data Processing Specialist II

Summary: JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. The Data Processing Specialist II will perform a variety of tasks related to pre and post-test processing operations, manage data requests, and ensure mission support needs are met. Responsibilities: - Manage and validate test data, pre-flight data, data products, and ingest data using scripted actions from a variety of sources - Ensure all data products are logged into and out of the data management system and provide periodic inventories of all stored media - Work with programmers, data production analysts, and discipline engineers to ensure the timely success of data operations - Participate in process and tool automation and optimization of data ingestion - Assist with the development of processing specifications, procedures, and provide requested reports/metrics as required - Understand and adhere to all local security requirements regarding handling, transferring, shipping, and disposing of data and media products - Perform other job-related duties, as required Required Qualifications: - Associate's Degree and one-year related experience or equivalent years of experience are required for this position - Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security + Certification within 6 months of hire - Must have at minimum an active DoD Secret level clearance (eligible for TS) - Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Must maintain working knowledge of applicable computer systems, integrated software applications, and data ingestion/reduction processes and techniques - Must have sufficient skill to apply the Data Management toolsets to complete required tasks - Demonstrated skill, knowledge, and technical competency in the use of scientific and mathematical theories and principles applicable to operations research - Ability to employ professional methods of scientific inquiries and analyses in the solution of difficult research and/or systems analysis problems - Demonstrated ability to prepare thorough and comprehensive reports or analytical studies - Good planning/organizational skills - Ability to work under deadlines - Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license - Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance - Must be a U.S. citizen Required Skills: CompTIA Security+ Certification, Data Management toolsets, Data ingestion processes, Data reduction processes, Scientific and mathematical theories for operations research, Report preparation, Computer systems, Integrated software applications Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Benefits Active on Day 1, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts/FSA's, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401(k) Plan Options with Employer Match, JT4 will match 50%, up to an 8% contribution, 100% Immediate Vesting, Tuition Reimbursement
