Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Baltimore, MD. This travel, temporary assignment begins 06/23/2026 for 9 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,625 to $1,772, with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, in a hospital setting. This position supports Med Surg Tele patients and may require telemetry coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med Surg Tele patients, spanning adults with various clinical needs
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor patient response and telemetry as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with physicians and coordinate patient-centered care
• Supervise or direct care provided by others under your direction; ensure accurate and compliant documentation
• Recognize changes in patient condition, respond promptly, and escalate per protocol; participate in stroke patient care as required

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license; verification via Nursys within 30 days
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience; 2+ years of stroke patient experience documented on resume
• Willingness to care for telemetry patients as needed
• NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered; MRS/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
• COVID-19 vaccination required; documentation consistent with state requirements
• Local candidates accepted; must be able to meet the facility’s schedule
• Resume showing gaps explained; 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months; 1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg; RN license verification (within 30 days)
• Cover page documentation per facility requirements (staff will provide if not on file)
