Job Description
Summary: Disney is a renowned entertainment company, and they are seeking candidates for various Hotel Operations roles at Disneyland Resort. The positions involve providing excellent guest service and hospitality in a variety of settings, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest services.
Responsibilities:
- Banquets - Convention Services Attendant – DLH, Bar Porter, Bartender, Convention Service Attendant GCH/PPH, Server
- Bell Services – Bell Clerk, Door Attendant, Parking Cashier, Bellhelp, Parking Valet
- Hotel Food & Beverage – Concierge, DLH Coffee House, Expeditor, Night Porter, Receiver (Non-Inventory Control), Utility, Waithelp, Barback/Bar Porter, Bartender, Bushelp/Server Assistant, Hotel Food & Beverage – Receiver (Inventory Control)
- Hotel Guest Services Assistant
- Housekeeping - Lost & Found Receptionist, Office Clerk, Room Attendant, Hotel Custodial, Houseperson
- Pool Concierge
- Lifeguard
- Textile Services - Linen Control, Linen Production, Washer/Dryer Attendant
- Uniform Attendant
Required Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Excellent Guest Service and Hospitality skills
- Able to effectively work independently or as part of a team
- Basic communication skills (able to positively talk with Guest, Cast Members and leadership)
- Possess a positive, polished, outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to remain positive regardless of current task
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful working environment
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- Passion for serving others and proven problem-solving skills
- Receptive to special requests
- Ability to work efficiently with other operating departments
- Maintain professional appearance, behavior, integrity, and openness to Cast and Guest
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate work assignments
- Be active in the role of safety and security. Be cognizant of all emergency-reporting procedures
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment
- Ability to focus on paying attention to details
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding and difficult Guest situations
- This role is Part-Time and requires full availability for any shift (including nights) during our peak times of the year and year-round for holidays and weekends (a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in a high-volume restaurant/hotel
- Full availability seven (7) days a week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
